With the initiative of Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of Tripura has been inaugurated Farmers Knowledge Centre at Sekerkote, Agartala on Thursday (3rd November, 2022). Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated Farmers Knowledge Centre.
“Farmers Knowledge Centre will be playing the role work like an educational institution for the farmers. The farmers can enrich themselves by getting training in the latest methods of farming from the Farmers Knowledge Centre”, said Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while the inauguration of Farmers Knowledge Centre. The Chief Minister also said, the farmers will be able to learn about various methods of agricultural work such as increasing crop production, marketing of the produced crops from the Farmers’ Knowledge Center.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha distributed agricultural machinery among the beneficiaries by Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of Tripura through this programme. Secretary of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare department Apurba Roy delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Sabhadhipati of West Tripura Zilla Parishad Antara Deb (Sarkar), Vice Chairman of Dukli Panchayat Samiti Dulal Sarkar also spoke in the programme.
