Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates Newly Constructed Building Of Surjyamaninagar H.S. School.

Agartala, 31st of December 2023 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the Newly Constructed Building of Suryamaninagar H.S. School at Surjyamaninagar, Agartala on Sunday (31st December, 2023).

“The present generation is the future of tomorrow. Today’s students will have the responsibility of the country and the State in the future. The present Central and State Governments are working towards creating a bright future for the next generation”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at inaugural ceremony of the Newly Constructed Building of Suryamaninagar H.S. School. In the event, the Chief Minister said that the country will develop only if the students are educated in quality education. The State Government is working towards building better education infrastructure. This building of H.S. School has been constructed in just a few days. He said that the State Government has given priority to infrastructure development to expand quality education.

Addressing the gathering the Chief Minister also added that, Mission Vidyajyoti scheme has been launched in the State along with the National Education Policy. The present Government came to power and introduced NCRT curriculum in the State to promote quality education. Moreover, an educational channel named “Vande Tripura” and “Bochor Bachao (save year) examinations” has been launched. Super-30, NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy), Tripura Project, Mukul Program at Anganwari Center and Vocational Education have been introduced to make students interested in education. The Chief Minister said that the State Government has also taken various initiatives for the Disabilities (Divyangjan) students in the state. The mentality of students of the State to study abroad has also decreased. A better education system is being developed in the State addressing the students, the Chief Minister said that along with studies, it is necessary to have a sense of patriotism.

Director of Higher Education department N. C. Sharma delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Ram Prasad Paul, School teachers, students and many other dignitaries were present in the programme. Lipa Debbarma Headmistress of Surjyamaninagar H.S. School has concluded the ceremony with vote of thanks.​
