Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated Operation Theatre Complex at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital on Thursday (5th October, 2023).
The fulfillment is the long-standing demand of Teliamura Sub-division residents. There has been a demand for starting OT in Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital for a long time. Acknowledging the demand, MLA and Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy promised to arrange Operation Theatre at Teliamura Sub-divisional hospital as soon as possible. She has also tried according to that promise. As a result, on Thursday, the Operation Theatre was opened in Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital by the hand of the Chief Minister of the State.
Addressing at the Inauguration ceremony Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital is now fully prepared to open the Operation Theatre. This Operation Theatre is made with modern machinery. Henceforth the people of Teliamura Sub-division no longer have to go to the capital Agartala for caesarean operation. Small and medium operations can also be done here. The Chief Minister praised MLA and Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy for starting this Operation Theatre, but it can be said that the long-term demand of Teliamura Sub-division has been fulfilled, and happiness spread throughout Teliamura.
Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma, MLA and Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, Teliamura Municipal Councillor Rupak Sarkar, Secretary of the Health Department Dr. Debasis Basu, Director of Directorate of Health Services Dr. Supriya Mallik, District Magistrate and Collector of Khowai Chandni Chandran, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Teliamura Abhijit Chakraborty, CMO of Khowai District Dr. Nirmal Sarkar and many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony.
