Hotel Polo Towers Agartala celebrated the Christmas cake mixing ceremony like every year to mark the arrival of the harvesting season and to celebrate the start of the season of festivities with Joy and happiness.
According to Gunjan Kumar, Cluster General Manager, Hotel Polo Towers Group, under whose supervision at Hotel Polo Towers Agartala had a grand cake mixing at its Splash Pool & Deck with a lovely ambience said – “As rightly said Every Mix has a story to tell”, this traditional cake mixing ceremony has been celebrated since the 17th century started in Europe and over the period of time being widely celebrated world wide. This happy season with the Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony where valued Guests, friends from Media houses, bloggers and influencers are invited to celebrate in a style where kilograms of dry fruits, nuts, grains and spices are combined together to form a mixture. This mixture is then soaked in alcoholic blends for some days to let them soak all the flavours and aroma. Lastly, it will be divided into parts which go into the cake batter, from which further Christmas Fruit/Plum Cakes will be baked and will be available for all of you during Christmas and New Year.
He further added, It is a lovely ceremony where do not just make preparations for the upcoming festival, but also shared the joy of welcoming the festive spirit that is so synonymous with Christmas followed by the welcoming of new year.
Food and Beverage In charge Mr. Vikalp Suman & Executive Chef Mr. Arnab Mondal, further added that this ceremony together where traditional liquors were mixed with sultanas, raisins, cashews, almonds, plums and peaches and the soaked nuts were stored in large containers to be used in Christmas baking.”
Also added these yummy cakes will be available to buy at Hotel Polo Towers during Christmas. It was further announced to have Bengali Special Gala buffet Lunch and Dinner will be served during upcoming Puja and a lot of activities are planned during Shasthi to Dashami.
