Agartala, 29th of March 2024 : With the initiative of Shantir Rani Catholic Church celebrated Good Friday at Mariam Nagar, Khayerpur, Agartala on Friday (29th March, 2024). Good Friday was celebrated across the state with great zeal and enthusiasm. Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu attend Mariumnagar Church on the auspicious occasion of Good Friday today. The Governor offered prayers at Shantir Rani Catholic Church.
On the auspicious occasion of Good Friday, Hon’ble Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu said, “on the occasion of Good Friday let us recall Jesus Christ message of love for mankind, compassion for the helpless, forgiveness for enemies & the supreme sacrifice made by Jesus Christ for mankind”.
UK Chakma Secretary of Governor and other dignitaries were present in the celebration ceremony.
