Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting on Wednesday (22nd March, 2023) to review the preparedness on COVID-19 and Influenza. The meeting was conducted to assess the situation as Influenza cases rise across the country along with a consistent spike in COVID-19 cases over the past two weeks.

“Chaired a meeting to review the preparedness on COVID-19 and Influenza. Discussed ramping up genome sequencing, improving preparedness of hospitals and importance of Covid appropriate behaviour.
