With the initiative of Central Government and Government of Tripura E-Rickshaws (Tom-Tom) distributed to the unemployed youth under Kalyanpur block on Wednesday (22nd March, 2023).
In 2018, Kalyanpur was given a large number of financial benefits under various schemes to make a large number of enterprising youth economically self-reliant. For the first time since the current Government came to power, E-Rickshaws (Tom-Tom) were handed over to the beneficiaries of the self-reliance project aimed at making the unemployed youth self-reliant in Kalyanpur.
E-Rickshaws (Tom-Tom) handed over a total of four unemployed youths of Kalyanpur Gram Panchayat and East Kunjban Gram Panchayat of Kalyanpur block area in the presence of MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury and Tarun Kanti Sarkar, BDO, Kalyanpur RD Block, officials and other dignitaries.
Biswajit Majumder, Alak Nag, Paplu Das, Subhash Debnath gave the E- Rickshaws (Tom-Tom) to the hands of MLA and other guests. It is known that out of the fixed price of Tom-Tom 1 lakh 77 thousand, 60 thousand will be subsidized by the Government. Kalyanpur UCO Bank has financed these four E-Rickshaws (Tom-Tom). Unemployed youths are very happy to get such a E-Rickshaws (Tom-Tom) with Government assistance. Speaking to the media, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury said, four unemployed youths were given E-Rickshaws (Tom-Tom) with this Government assistance. With the aim of building a self-reliant India, joint initiatives of the Government of India and the Government of Tripura have been launched everywhere. He also claimed that the Government will work for the development of the socio-economic system of all sections of the people in the coming days.
