The Hon’ble Tribal Welfare minister Ram Pada Jamatia has laid the foundation stone of 100 seated ST Girl’s Hostel here in Garia Academy (model) in Tentui village under Ampinagar block, Gomati Tripura today (24th November, 2022). On this auspicious occasion a large number of Jamatia people from different places have taken participation in this foundation stone laying ceremony in the school premises of Garia Academy. As per the report, the school authority of Garia Mission is going to construct 100 seated girl’s hostel as well as additional classrooms for the smooth and excellence academic achievement for the educational progress of Jamatia community. A number of Jamatia Hoda social administrators have taken part in this school development project implementation programme.
Addressing the Jamatia people minister Ram Pada Jamatia said, “Education has no alternative and all kinds of social progress depend on education. As much as possible we have to provide all kinds of assistances for creating academic favourable school infrastructure for our children.” The school children have presented their different kinds of traditional cultural programmes in the ceremony. Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Bipra Kr. Jamatia, Hon’ble Okra Jamatia Hoda, Monindra Mohan Jamatia, Hon’ble Okra Jamatia Hoda, Mohitala, Jamatia, president of baba Garia mission school staff, students, parents, local villagers and many others remained present in the programme.
