Housewife Allegedly Leaves Home With Important Documents, Husband Files Complaint At Sabroom Police Station.

Sabroom, Tripura, 28th of October, 2026 : The incident has triggered widespread concern in the Ludhua area of Sabroom, Tripura. A 26-year-old housewife, Manju Tripura, has reportedly gone missing under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind her husband and her young son, who is studying in Class VI.

According to Bhajan Tripura, who spoke about the incident outside Sabroom Police Station on Tuesday (27th October, 2026), his wife left their home last Friday morning, saying she was going to collect coconuts. When she failed to return, he began searching for her and subsequently discovered that she had taken her Aadhaar card and other important identity documents with her.

As his wife’s mobile phone had no active recharge, Bhajan Tripura later recharged it and tried to contact her. However, according to him, she answered the call and then switched off her phone. Speculation is now rife in the area over whether an alleged extramarital relationship with another man may have prompted her to leave.

Amid mounting doubts and speculation, the distressed husband has made an emotional appeal for his wife to return to their home and family and reunite with their young son.

With no information about his wife’s whereabouts, Bhajan Tripura has taken legal recourse by submitting a written complaint to Sabroom Police Station. Police have started probing the matter.
