Inauguration Of Voice Of Media North District Committee’s New Office.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 15th of July 2026 : The new district office of the North District Committee of Voice of Media, a prominent organization of journalists, was formally inaugurated on Wednesday in Dharmanagar. The new office, located beside the Ardhendu Bhattacharya Smriti Bhavan, was inaugurated by Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty. The event was also attended by Dharmanagar Municipal Council Chairperson Mitali Das Sen, North Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, along with other dignitaries.The inaugural ceremony commenced with the traditional worship of Lord Vishnu, following customary rituals.

MLA Jahar Chakraborty then officially inaugurated the new district office by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.All office-bearers and members of the Voice of Media North District Committee were present on the occasion. The inauguration was marked by enthusiasm and a festive atmosphere among the members.

Participants expressed confidence that the new office would play a significant role in strengthening unity among journalists in North Tripura, promoting professional development,safeguarding journalists’ rights, and enhancing the organization’s activities. Addressing at the event emphasized that Voice of Media would continue to work actively for the welfare of journalists, improve professional standards, and uphold the responsibility of the media towards society. They also expressed hope that the new district office would serve as a key center for the organization’s future activities.
