Agartala, Tripura, 16th of November, 2025 : With the initiative of Journalist Recreation Club Celebrated National Press day 2025 at Agartala, Tripura on Sunday (16th November, 2025). On the occasion of National Press Day, the Journalist Recreation Club extended heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all members Media Workers, Journalists, Editors, and Photojournalists. As part of the celebration, three veteran sports journalists and analysts— Pranab Nandi, Tapan Chakraborty, and Monimoy Roy— were felicitated at their respective residences.
On behalf of the Journalist Recreation Club, President Suprabhat Debnath, Vice-President Anirban Deb, Secretary Abhisek Dey, and other officials reiterated their commitment to building a more independent, technologically advanced, transparent, and accountable news environment by honoring senior journalists on this significant day for the media. At the same time, they called for ensuring the safety, dignity, and proper working conditions of every journalist.
