Dhalai, Tripura, 4th of January, 2025 : With the initiative of Durga Chowmuhani R.D Block has been conducted mega blood donation camp at Durga Chowmuhani R.D Block premises, on Saturday (4th January, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education minister Tinku Roy inaugurated the blood donation camp by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Blood Donation programme Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education minister Tinku Roy said that there has been a lot of improvement in health services in the state. There was a time when people from our state had to travel outside the state for treatment. Now this trend has reduced a lot. Poor people are getting medical services under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The youth of state are donating blood in a festive mood. The sports minister called on social workers, clubs, social organizations, business associations and other organizations should come forward to pledge to blood donation.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were MLA Manoj Kanti Deb, MLA Swapna Das Paul, Durga Chowmuhani Panchayat Samiti chairman Bhanu Pratap Lodh, and many others dignitaries were remained present in the event.
