Khowai, 16th of March 2024 : With the initiative of MOIC Chebri PHC organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Primary Health Center (PHC), Chebri under Khowai District on Saturday (16th March, 2024). Aiming to fulfill the crisis of blood in Tripura blood donation camps are going on across the state to meet the shortage of blood. As a part of that, blood donation camps are being organized by Government and Non-Government organizations. The Blood Donation programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury and other dignitaries.
“Blood donation is a voluntary procedure that can help save lives. There is no substitute for blood to save a comatose patient. Organization of Blood Donation Camp by MOIC of Primary Health Center is really commendable. Moreover, he said that blood donation camps should be organized in every club or social organization and Government initiative.”, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury said at the blood donation camp today. A total of 30 blood donors voluntarily donated blood in this voluntary blood donation camp on this day.
Amongst the other distinguished participants there were MOIC Priyanka Debbarma, Panchayat Pradhan Rupa Singh Roy, Social Activist Asit Roy and Chayan Roy and other dignitaries were present in this event.
