Mega Loan Distributed To SHG For SCATFORM Project.

With the initiative of Amarpur Forest Subdivision authority a mega loan distribution programme to SHG has been conducted here in Ampinagar community hall under Ampinagar RD block in Gomati Tripura today. MLA Sindhu Chandra Jamatia has inaugurated the programme in the presence of many dignitaries of the event. Aiming to achieve better profit in piggery & fishery the forest department has given this loan amenity to the SHG teams in different panchayats in Ampi RD block. The department has provided all essential training to these SHG members earlier that they maintain these project properly and gain a good family income source from their projects.

As per the report, under the scheme of SCATFORM project this loan has been distributed amidst the JFMC SHG members in 14 ADC villages where total 31 SHGs have availed this mega loan facility with the lowest interest of 2% to establish their piggery & fishery projects. According to the departmental official, Rs. 100000 has been given to each group for their project management. Addressing the SHG participants Ampi MLA Sindhu Chandra Jamatia said, “Our BJP-IPFT government is giving most priority over the development of poor rural people. To create prosperity in rural areas more initiatives are being taken by the forest department to remove poverty from rural indigenous families. The BJP-IPFT government is always with the needy and helpless people of the TTAADC.” He advised the SHG members to run their piggery & fishery project with care and sincerity to obtain a good achievement which will create a good family income for themselves.

Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Neeraj Kr. Chanchal, DFO, Jash Paul Debbarma, SDFO, Amarpur, Adhin Debbarma, Social activist, Jagadananda Tripura, Ampi ranger, Anil Das, forester, Abdul Basit, forester and many others remained present in the programme.
