Amarpur, Tripura, 28th of June 2025 : With the initiative of Ampi Nagar RD block special saturation camp on Dharti Aaba Janajatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan programme has been conducted here in Ampi Nagar community hall in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of administrative dignitaries, officials from many line departments, and general public have assembled here in the programme venue. In presence of many distinguished dignitaries hon’ble finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy has inaugurated the event. As per the official report, DAJGUA as a significant initiative aimed at fostering inclusive and sustainable development in indigenous regions. The DAJGUA package was launched in 2023 and brings together about 25 interventions from 17 line Ministries for full scheme saturation under various government programmes to about 68,000 villages dominated by ST communities.
Addressing the gathering finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy has said, “Targeting to create social development in deprived indigenous communities in the country PM Narendra Modi has launced the DAJGUA package which has multiple sectors to generate social prosperity in backward indigenous regions in the country. To maintain a proportional social prosperity and advancement this DAJGUA Package is keeping a significant role for rural India. To dispose different kinds of government amenities for those helpless and needy indigenous families living in rural areas DAJGUA has appeared as a boon for the tribal communities.” To showcase their departmental service many line departments have installed stalls and provided public service. Through this DAJGUA administrative camp public applications have been taken for different kinds of government certificates like PRTC, marriage, income, labour, SC, ST, OBC etc. Nutritious foods have been provided to pregnant women by the ICDS authority and for obtaining better achievements SHGs were felicitated by the concerned authority.
Amidst the other special programme participants there were Bikash Debbarma, minister, tribal welfare, Pathanlal Jamatia, Ampi Nagar MLA. Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, Ampi BAC chairman, Tarit Kanti Chakma, Gomati district DM, Anupam Chakraborty, Amarpur SD, Shipsonlian Kaipeng, MDC and many others remained present in the programme.
