MLA Islam Uddin Felicitates Meritorious Madhyamik And Higher Secondary Students.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 19th of May 2026 : A heartwarming scene unfolded in the Kadamtala area on Tuesday morning as the local MLA personally visited the homes of meritorious students carrying sweets to celebrate their success.

At around 10 AM, Kurti-Kadamtala constituency MLA Islam Uddin visited the homes of four students who secured first division in the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations and felicitated them for their achievements. Leaders and members of various wings of the CPI(M) accompanied him throughout the programme.The team first visited the residence of Sunita Nath of South Kadamtala. Sunita, daughter of Kalyan Nath, secured an impressive 82.6% marks in the Madhyamik examination. The MLA presented her with a bouquet and a memento and wished her success in her future academic journey.Thereafter, the MLA felicitated Abir Hossain of East Kadamtala, son of Nazrul Islam alias Abu, who scored 72% in the Higher Secondary examination. Anik Das, son of Paritosh Das from West Baghon, was also honoured for securing 72% in the Higher Secondary examination.

The MLA visited the home of Anirasom Debnath, son of Ashutosh Debnath of Kadamtala. Anirasom secured 76.8% marks in the Higher Secondary examination. At every student’s residence, MLA Islam Uddin handed over bouquets and felicitation mementos. Besides congratulating the students, he also enquired about their studies and future plans and interacted with their family members.

Speaking after the felicitation programme, the MLA said, “These students are the future of our area. We are proud of their achievements. I wish every student a bright future. Along with achieving good results, they should grow into responsible citizens and contribute towards building society.”The initiative by the MLA deeply touched the students and their guardians. Residents of Kadamtala expressed happiness and appreciation at seeing their elected representative personally visiting homes to encourage young achievers. Many described the gesture as a rare honour and a memorable moment following the examination results.
