National Integration Tour  Flagged In By Inspector General Assam Rifles, East At Srikona.

Manipur, 11th of September, 2024 : Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) Flagged in the Assam Rifles National Integration Tour on 11 Sep 24 at Srikona. The participants of the tour included students across communities from various remote schools in Jiribam district of Manipur.

    Senior officials of Assam Rifles interacted with the students who enthusiastically narrated their stories and experiences during the educational tour.

          The tour, spanning over a period of nine days, was flagged off from Assam Rifles Headquarters at Srikona, Assam on 02 Sep 24. A total of 35 students (19 girls and 16 boys)from classes 08th to 10th alongwith their teachers participated in the tour. The tour included  visits to significant  cultural and educational landmarks at Agartala, Shillong, Guwahati and Tezpur. During the tour the students also got an opportunity to interacted with senior officials of Assam Rifles at Shillong and Indian Airforce at Tezpur. They also got a unique opportunity to personally interact  with the Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Shri Indrasena Reddy. The National integration tour was conducted as part of Operation Sadbhavna to inculcate national spirit and provide better educational exposure to students from remote areas. The experiences made an indelible impression on young minds and motivated them to pursue their dreams passionately.
