Khowai, 29th of February 2024 : With the initiative of Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress organizational meeting has been organized at Block Congress Office, Khowai on Thursday (29th February, 2024). Newly appointed Tripura Youth Congress President Nil Kamal Saha chaired the meeting with Youth Congress activists of Khowai.
Interacting with media Tripura Youth Congress President Nil Kamal Saha said, In 2018, the political transition in the state was based on a few promises. The current ruling party, BJP, had promised the people of the state that 50,000 youths would be given jobs every year. Drug free state will be formed. The administration will be free from corruption. But now the opposite is happening. Five thousand youths do not get jobs every year. Every day the police are recovering cannabis in the name of intoxication. Ahead of the state-wide protest movement, district-wise campaigns are underway to unite the unemployed youth in every district.
NSUI State President Swarup Shil, Biplab Ghosh, President of Sadar Division, Pradyut Bhattacharya, District Congress President, Jatindra Gope Khowai Block Congress President and many other remained present in the meeting.
