Agartala, 11th of February 2024 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated the final match of the Kamal Cup Cricket tournament 2024 at Amtali School play ground, Suryamaninagar in Agartala on Sunday (11th February, 2024).
The final match of the Kamal Cup cricket Tournament was between Niljyoti Travels Vs Banik Brothers. In the final match, Niljyoti Travels defeated Banik Brothers to win the title of champion. The Champion Niljyoti Travels was awarded a TATA Tiago car and a trophy and the Runners-up Banik Brothers 50,000 rupees and trophy.
In the opening ceremony of the final match, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha thanked the organizers of the competition. The Chief Minister highly praised the initiative of Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA of Suryamaninagar Constituency Ram Prasad Pal. The Chief Minister also said that the present State Government is continuously working for public interest. Amid the excitement and enthusiasm of hundreds of spectators, today inaugurated the final match of the Kamal Cup cricket tournament.
Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, Minister Tinku Roy, Hon’ble Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Ram Prasad Pal, Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, Tripura Pradesh BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee, Former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, Educationist Abhijit Bhattacharjee (Chairman and Principal of School Of Science) and many other dignitaries were present in the final match.
