Hon’ble Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu Attends Closing Ceremony Of Divya Kala Mela.

Agartala, 11th of February 2024 : The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) DEPwD, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt of India through National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC) regularly organizes Divya Kala Mela a unique event showcasing the products and craftsmanship of Divyang entrepreneurs/artisans from across the country. To continue the efforts of empowering Divyang Entrepreneurs, Divya Kala Mela was organized from 6th to 11th February 2024 at Children Park, Agartala. The closing ceremony of Divya Kala Mela was held today.

Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Indrasena Reddy Nallu attended the closing ceremony of Divya Kala Mela today (11th February, 2024). “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government is working towards Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. The Central Government has taken various initiatives for the welfare of Divyangjans”, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Indrasena Reddy Nallu said at the closing ceremony of Divya Kala Mela. The Governor praised the work of the National Disability Finance and Development Corporation for the welfare of the disabled in the country.

In the closing ceremony of Divya Kala Mela, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Indrasena Reddy Nallu and present guests distributed Wheelchairs, hearing aid, phones and Certificates to the Disabilities (Divyangjan) today.

Naveen Shah, IFS, CMD, NDFDC, delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. In today’s programme apart from the Governor, Hon’ble Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India Pratima Bhoumik, Chairman of OBC Welfare committee Pinaki Das Chowdhury and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
