
Agartala, Tripura, 5th of July, 2025 : 100 students from different states of the North East witnessed India’s achievements in space science and research during a visit to various Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) centres in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The students got this opportunity as part of the North East Students’ Programme for Awareness, Reach, and Knowledge on Space (NE-SPARKS) of the North Eastern Regional Board.
On the first day, they visited ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network. On the second day, they also got an opportunity to see special footage of the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission, U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) Centre Satellite Model, Satellite Technology etc. This experience has enhanced their knowledge and sparked their interest in space science. Thus, 800 students from a total of Eight States of the North-East will get this opportunity under this project, according to the NEC Secretariat.
