Sonamura, Tripura, 29th of July 2025 : Once again during Sonamura police patrolling duty at Batadola area near Indo-Bangla Border Fence & recovered and seized total 56 kg DRY cannabis (Ganja) which was kept into 14 no, s packets which covered by brown colour tape , as unclaimed. After that seized it after observing all legal formalities as unclaimed. And Sonamura police station has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal ganja. Destination market value of the seized ganja approx – 11 Lakhs 20 thousands. A police team under the supervision of the Sonamura police Police Station OC Tapas Das conducted the investigation.
