TRPC chairman P.K Jamatia and GS Rathee have participated in 62nd Teachers’ Day celebration programme conducted by Ampinagar I.S (state) here in Ampinagar BRC hall today. On this auspicious occasion a large number of school teachers, students, guardians as well as local leaders have assembled in the programme venue and observed the 62nd birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan with due respect and dignity.
Addressing the participants TRPC chairman PK Jamatia has said, “The birth day of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was a great teacher is observed as Teachers’ Day across the country. He has sacrificed his life to generate ideal education in our country and made the nation aware over the significance of education to advance a nation. He was a role model for the teachers of our subcontinent. We should follow the idealism of this great teacher in our life.” Among the other there was Prasanta Saha, SMC chairman, BDO of Ampi RD block and many others remained present in the programme.
