Teliamura, 8th of April, 2024 : Principal Chief Conservator Of Forest (PCCF), Abinash Kanfade rushed on Monday (8th April, 2024) at around 12 noon to the house of Nirod Chowdhury, who died in the attack of a wild elephant in Kapaliti area, Maharanipur under Teliamura Subdivision. Apart from the PCCF, large number of police and CRPF force were present. On this day, the PCCF gave a check of fifty thousand rupees to the family of the deceased. The whole family burst into tears.
Nirud Chowdhury (70) died after being trampled by a wild elephant on yesterday (7th April, 2024). The incident took place on Sunday evening around 7 pm in Maharani area under Teliamura Subdivision.
