Teliamura, 11th of March 2024 : Physically disabled did not get Government allowance. The family does not have a Government house. Every village committee, gram Panchayat in the State has provision of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This Awas Yojana house is given to all the people of the village who cannot afford to build a house. As per the report, in that place, even if a helpless mother has a disabled daughter, there is no allowance or PMAY. The incident took place in Khasiamangal area under 29 Krishnapur Assembly Constituency. Reshmi Debbarma, a daughter of a poor family who studied up to class 10, is disabled.
