Amarpur, Tripura, 16th of November 2025 : After FIR launched by the Ampi forest range officials regarding the snatched illegal Log Loaded vehicle from Ampi forest office recently Ampi police station officials came into action and recovered the vehicle from Tuidu area. After recovering it Ampi PS authority has kept the vehicle in police custody now.
As per the report, Ampi forest officials had seized the vehicle for carrying illegal logs some days back. The vehicle was kept interior forest office but unknown miscreants have stolen it with alternative key. The vehicle is TATA Yodha pick up truck, no- TRO-1BA-1790. The original vehicle key was in ranger’s hand but using alternative key surprisingly it has been taken from there. Based on FIR launched by forest authority police arrested two persons affiliated with the incident who are still in jail.
According to forest officials, seized vehicle was snatched illegally. They have taken law in hand; this vehicle case is very critical and the owner of it may not be able to recover it from the concerned departmental custody. Local public said, after posting the new ranger in Ampi forest range illegal log vehicle movement has become little declined; last year due to constant seamlessly forest destruction by outlaw log traders many areas of Ampi and Gandcherra have become blank.
