Today (22nd July, 2022) in a successful operation police recovered the Pistol (weapon of offence) used in murder of Lt. Bashudeb Debbarma S/O Lt. Bishnu Debbarma and Puspak Saha @ Mimu S/O Sri Binoy Saha, both of Adviser Choumuhani, PS-West Agartala from Durga Choumuhani Para near the house of Babul Debbarma in connection with Bodhjungnagar PS case No 32/2022. This achievement came after thorough interrogation and subsequent disclosure by the principal accused person namely Babul Debbarma @ Babla S/O Sukamoni Debbarma of Durga Choudhury Para, PS-Bodhjungnagar who is now in police remand. As per the report, yesterday (21/07/2022) West District police and East Kameng Police of Arunachal Pradesh arrested one Sushanta Saha (50) S/o Lt. Sailen Ch. Saha, Netajinagar, ONGC, PS-Amtali in connection with Seppa Police Station Case No. 29/2022 U/S 406 IPC. The arrested person has committed the crime of criminal Breach of Trust and misappropriated Rs. 45 lakh (approx) from Nestle Company at Arunachal Pradesh. After arrest the accused person was handed over to Arunachal Police team at Amtali Police Station after observing legal formalities.
