Agartala, Tripura, 26th of January, 2026 : Hon’ble Power, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath paid homage to the Martyrs on the occasion of 77th Republic Day at Albert Ekka War Memorial at Lichubagan, Agartala,Tripura on Monday (26th January, 2026).
Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble Power, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath that although independence was achieved on 15 August, the true foundation of India’s democratic structure was laid on 26 January. It was on this day that the Constitution came into force, giving concrete shape to the democratic system of governance. The core objective of the Republic is to ensure equal rights and justice for every citizen of society. After the programme, the minister extended his greetings by distributing sweets to the jawans of the TSR 11th Battalion and the Army.
