Teliamura, 12th of March 2024 : There is a sensation in the area of rescue of python in populated areas. The incident took place on Monday (11th March, 2024) night at approximately 10:30 PM in DM Colony area under Teliamura police station. According to the details of the incident, around 10:30 p.m. on Monday night, a huge python snake was noticed in the canal to a person’s house in DM Colony area.
Local people rushed to witness the incident. As soon as the news of the presence of python snake spread in the densely populated area in the middle of the night, there was a sensation in the area. At that time, the local residents reached the Teliamura Forest Department. After receiving the news of the incident, the forest department personnel rushed to the spot. After a long effort, the snake was rescued and taken to the office of Teliamura Sub-Divisional Forest Department. It is initially known that this snake will be released later in the deep forest.
