Ramakrishna Mahavidyalaya Celebrates 75th Anniversary Ceremony.

Kailashahar, Tripura, 7th of September, 2024 : Ramakrishna Mahavidyalaya celebrated the 75th anniversary at Ramakrishna Mahavidyalaya campus, Kailashahar, Tripura on Saturday (7th September, 2024). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp.

Addressing the Ramakrishna Mahavidyalaya 75th anniversary celebration Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that we are encouraging women to move forward in the society in various ways. Women now do not have to pay any fees to study at the college level. Reservations are made for women in employment. The present Government of the State is working on education and health as top priority. The infrastructure of these two fields is being poured. New projects and opportunities are being expanded to improve the quality of education and health. No compromise will be made in this regard.

“A scheme called ‘Lakshya’ has been launched in the State. Educated youth of the state can take advantage of this scheme to secure administrative posts like IAS/IPS in the UPSC examination. 5 lakh 20 thousand financial assistance is given to those who succeed in the preliminary examination for all these administrative posts under this scheme. Chief Minister said that so far 9 people have been given financial assistance in the target project.”, Chief Minister  added.

On this auspicious occasion a check of 50 thousand rupees from Ramakrishna Mahavidyalaya and a check of 1 lakh rupees from the office of Kumarghat block were handed over to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Higher Education Department Special Secretary Ravel Hemendra Kumar, Higher Education Department Director Animesh Debbarma, Tripura Waqf Board Chairman Mabaswar Ali , Superintendent of Police Kanta Jangir and Swami Khirijananda Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, MLA Birajit Sinha and many other dignitaries were present in the celebration ceremony.

The Chief Minister visited Ganesh Puja at Panichowki Bazar in Kailashahar today. He was accompanied by Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education Minister Tinku Roy and Chairperson of Kailashahar Parishad Chapla Debroy. Here, a check of 21 thousand rupees was handed over to the chief minister’s relief fund on behalf of the Kailashahar Merchant Association in the hands of Chief Minister.
