Retailers Association Of India Partners With NMIMS To Launch Executive Programmes For Retail Managers.

Mumbai, 19th of September, 2024 : The Retailers Association of India (RAI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NMIMS School of Business Management to introduce specialised Executive Programmes aimed at enhancing the skills of mid-level retail managers and also Leadership Acumen at CXO Level. This partnership was announced at Manning Modern Retail on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

This MoU represents a strategic alliance between RAI and NMIMS, aimed at fostering professional growth and excellence in the retail industry. By equipping mid-level managers with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed, this initiative seeks to bolster the competitiveness and innovation of retail businesses across India.

The Executive Programmes are designed to elevate managerial proficiency in essential areas such as personal and managerial excellence, high-performance team development, dynamic leadership, and conflict resolution. Scheduled to be conducted at the NMIMS campus in Mumbai or at designated venues, the programmes will utilise a combination of interactive workshops, case studies, and practical exercises to provide participants with hands-on learning experiences.

Through this programme, participants will develop advanced managerial skills tailored to the needs of mid-level retail managers, with an emphasis on goal setting, effective delegation, motivation, team management, and leadership in evolving business environments. By the end of the programme, participants will be equipped to better align with their organisations’ vision and values, while gaining the ability to manage market dynamics, build high-performance teams, embrace change, and adopt an agile approach to business challenges. Graduates of the programme will receive a certificate from NMIMS, marking their readiness to lead and excel in the retail sector.

Kumar Rajagopalan, CEO, Retailers Association of India (RAI), emphasised the significance of this collaboration, stating, “This programme is about skill enhancement, and equipping our managers with the capabilities required to thrive in today’s complex retail landscape.
