RK Mission School Of Languages Inaugurated At Agartala.

Agartala, Tripura, 4th of September, 2026 : The premises of Ram Krishna Mission at Gangail Road, Agartala, ‘Ram Krishna Mission School of Languages’ and ‘Ram Krishna Mission Centre for Human Excellence’ were inaugurated on Friday (4th September, 2026). Established with the support of the Directorate of Skill Development, Government of Tripura, this newly established institute has launched comprehensive courses for learning foreign languages. Courses will be offered in German, Spanish, French, Japanese and English at this centre.

OSD to the Chief Minister Paramananda Sarkar Banerjee was present at the inaugural function as the chief guest, while the Principal of Ram Krishna Mission School of Lanugages at Kolkata’s Golpark, Sabujkalı Sen graced the occasion as special guest and the director of Skill Development Pradip K. was present as guest of honour. Swami Shubhakarananda Maharaj, secretary of Ram Krishna Mission at Viveknagar presided over the programme. Faculty members from Kolkata were also present there.

Addressing the event, Swami Shubhakarananda Maharaj termed the initiative very significant for the youth of Tripura and thanked the Government of Triputa for helping in the establishment of this institute. Special guest Sabujkali Sen said, this initiative has opened up a new avenue for the people of Tripura to connect with the greater world. She informed that at the Golpark centre in Kolkata at present courses are being offered in 21 languages and very soon Hebrew and Dutch will be introduced. She said learning a new language would expand their opportunities in employment. Languages like Chinese and Japanese could open up income avenues for them.

Director of Skill Development Pradip K. termed this initiative as the first of its kind in the entire North-East region. He said this joint initiative of the Government of Tripura and Ram Krishna Mission would give opportunity to the learners to learn new language thereby enabling them to find employment at the global stage. OSD to the CM Paramananda Sarkar Banerjee said this will not only give employment to the learners but also help in their moral and life development. At the same time it will pave the way for finding jobs in the language-dependent industries including tourism. This has been informed by the Directorate of Skill Development through a press release.
