Khowai, 6th of January, 2023 : Once again, a devastating road accident was occurred here at Ramchandraghat under Khowai District on Saturday (6th January, 2024). According to the details of the incident, a TR01AR1554 Bolero hit a bike TR01AH9273 at Ramchandraghat bazaar area around 5:00 pm today. Raju Nandi (45), S/O Parimal Nandi was seriously injured in this vehicle accident. When Raju was going home from Ramchandraghat bazaar, a Bolero car was coming from Teliamura. Raju Nandi, the bike rider, fell to the ground after being hit by a car in Ramchandraghat bazaar and sustained severe injuries on his head. People in the market witnessed this incident and immediately brought him to the Khowai District Hospital. The critical condition seriously injured person has been referred to GBP Hospital, Agartala for better treatment. Meanwhile, the local residents detained the driver. The Khowai police arrived on the spot and arrested the driver and brought him to the police station.
