Khowai, 15th of February 2024 : With the initiative of All Adivasi Association of Tripura workers have staged road blocked on Thursday (15th February, 2024) morning. The workers of All Adivasi Association of Tripura has blocked on Khowai-Agartala road at Dhalabil area to protest the beating of a man named Rajesh Munda in Cherma area of Khowai. They demand that the accused should be arrested in this beating incident. Later, All Adivasi Association of Tripura workers withdrew the Khowai-Agartala road blockade on the assurance of Pushan Kanti Majumder, SPO Khowai PS. Normal life and movement of vehicles were disrupted due to the road blockade. Blocking of roads by protesters causes not only problems to common people, it also harms economic productivity.
