S.R.S.S Organized Gopashtami Mela 2025.             

Amarpur, Tripura, 30th of October 2025 : With the initiative of Sadhak Rantanmoni Seva Sadan a motivational devotional Gopashtami Mela 2025 has been conducted here in Sadhak Rantanmoni Seva Sadan premises with due piety manner in Ananda Bazar, Kanchanpur, North Tripura. On this auspicious occasion a large number of Sadhak Rantanmoni Seva Sadan devotee members alongwith local villagers have assembled in the programme venue and took participation in this religious event.

The Sadhak Rantanmoni Seva Sadan secretary Sudip Chakraborty has inaugurated the fair with great enthusiasm and pious mode. An inspiring showcase over the significant contribution of cows in our society has been displayed through this fair. Cows have been worshipped with fidelity. Seva Sadan devotees bathed many cows, decorated them with flower garlands; feed them fruits. Through the fair excursion local villagers have experienced how Sadhak Rantanmoni Seva Sadan devotee members care and respect cows considering them as holy and adorable. Addressing the participants Mr. Chakraborty said, “Cow is most beneficial and significant for our society. We drink its milk throughout our whole life. It is adorable as our mother. Cow is great donor for our society. Even it’s excrement is useful.

The eight lunar day of Kartik is known as Gopashtami. For the immense benefaction of cow in our civilized society its beneficiality lesson should be included in children syllabus to teach them in school over the greatness of mother cow.” As per the report, Gopashtami mela is a festival celebrating the day Lord Krishna officially began herding cows in Vrindavan, marked by the worship and protection of cows, especially on the eighth day of the month of Kartik. These gatherings, often held at temples or cow shelters, involve rituals like bathing and decorating cows, feeding them, and singing devotional songs, symbolising a deep respect for all living beings.
