Amarpur, 9th of May 2024 : The Bengali traditional Mata Mangal Chandi Baishakhi Fair 2024 has been initiated here in Amarpur Mata Mangal Chandi temple premises with great enthusiasm and joyous mode in Gomati Tripura. On this auspicious occasion a large programme arrangement has been managed where different kinds of stalls have been installed for the traders from different places in the event ground.
The opening ceremony was conducted on Wednesday evening in the presence of many dignitaries of the programme committee. The formal inauguration of this Mangal Chandi Baishakhi Fair 2024 was done by Chitta Maharaji of the Shanti Kali Ashram along with the chairman of the committee and other distinguished dignitaries. As per the report, to manage this traditional event more nicely a non political committee has been formed this year. Men, women and children are found busy in purchasing fascinating articles from the fair. To accelerate the programme attraction beautiful cultural segments have been included in the event period. This Mangal Chandi Baishakhi Fair venue has become a centre point of the indigenous and non indigenous people of the state.
