SHG Beneficiaries Availed Fishery Project.             

Ampi, Tripura, 25th of May 2025 : In the financial year 2024-25 Chachamung SHG Reang beneficiaries of Adi Debendra Para under Ekjanchara forest beat of Ampi nagar range office in Ampi block, Gomati Tripura has availed Checkdam model 1 for fish cultivation from the concerned forest department to create income source for themselves.

As per the report, under I.O Prasanta Mitra of Ampi forest range this Checkdam implementation was initiated from 29/01/2025 and the project was accomplished on 28/03/25. Sources said, under the SCATFORM project the forest department has provided various income source projects amidst the deprived Reang community in backward areas in Ampi. Under the able guidance and supervision of the concerned forest department the SHG beneficiaries will cultivate fish here in the Checkdam and gain much profit which will generate better financial stability in their families.

According to the departmental official report, to manage like this fishery project the department had already organized project management awareness programme in the range office where all kinds of essential tips and motivation had been provided to these SHG beneficiaries earlier. It is expected that if the group members handle this fishery project with concentration and care then a good financial opportunity is waiting for them.
