Agartala, Tripura, 6th of January, 2025 : With the initiative of Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers New Year celebrated with underprivileged children of the society in Dharmanagar, Tripura on Monday (6th January, 2024). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Biswa Bandhu Sen. inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Every year, Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers organizes various events with joy and excitement for children. This year too, celebrated the New Year by bringing smiles to the faces of the children of Gurukul Shishu Niwas in Dharmanagar. Childrens presented attractive cultural programmes like music, dance on the colourful celebration ceremony. A stage was prepared to showcase their hidden talents. Along with this, there were many types of games for the children so that they could enjoy a lot. The aim was to give the children an opportunity so that they could spend the day with joy from their hearts.
Various gifts were also kept for the children, including educational materials, sports equipment, some of their favourite and nutritious foods, cakes, and chocolates.
Hon’ble Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Biswa Bandhu Sen was present as the Chief Guest, Swami Girishananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Kailashahar, Biman Chandra Nag, Principal of Maharishi Dayananda Yoga Ashram were present as special guests.

I also wish them well for all the projects the organization has in mind for the betterment of this region in the future,” said Swami Girishananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission,

“We always try to support initiatives to rescue helpless, abandoned, homeless women and children. The smiles on the faces of the children, filled with joy, show how much they enjoyed our New Year celebrations this year. Shyam Sundar Co. Jewelers’ New Year celebrations included the distribution of blankets and dry food to all the street dwellers in Dharmanagar and the surrounding areas at night. On this day, a true New Year is celebrated with a day full of joy.
