Agartala, 15th of February 2024 : Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers’ ‘Swarnagram‘ is a model village project and this move – initiated in 2009 – is dedicated to the upliftment of lives and livelihood of people in the tribal hamlet of Warengbari in Gomati district of Tripura and also to showcase the ethnic culture of the dwindling Reang tribal community there.
Presently 250 families live in this Swarnagram. Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers organized a Valentine’s Day Festival with the lovers of Swarnagram on 14th February. The villagers were first welcomed with flowers and sweets. Shyam Sundar Co Jewelers distributed sports equipment for the children and one blanket for each family. Swami Bodhisattwananda, Assistant Secretary, Bharat Sebasram Sangha, was present as the chief guest at the Agartala showroom of Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers. He extended his best wishes to all of Swarnagram.
“I am very happy to be a part of such an event,” he said. He further said “I have appeared in many events in my life. But today’s event is one of the special ones.” Swami Bodhisattwananda, Assistant Secretary, Bharat Sebasram Sangha highly commended Shyam Sundar Co. Jewelers for this project.

She also added that the encouragement I got from the people of Swarnagram is most remarkable.
