Sonamura, Tripura, 26th of July, 2026 : On specific information of the Sonamura police jointly secret operation 81 BN BSF and 11th BN TSR conducted raid and search at UNC Nagar ward no -03 under Sonamura PS on Saturday (25th July, 2026).
According to sources, Sonamura Police last night on the basis of secret information, ambushed at UNC Nagar, Tukkar Chowmahani on BXN to SNM road under Sonamura PS, and detain one Bike and recovered and seized total 10 packet’s suspected to GANJA total weight 20.715 KG.
In this regard one specific case registered at Sonamura ps under NDPS act -1985 against The bike rider and pillion rider of bike Bearing no -TR-07J-4533.
The destination market value of NDPS items is approximately to be 4 Lakh.
This operation conducted jointly by Sonamura PS, 81 BN BSF and 11th BN TSR.
Interacted with media Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station gave details about this matter. OC also stated that such operations against illegal contrabands would continue next day.
