Sonamura, Tripura, 26th of July, 2026 : On specific information of the Sonamura police secret operation conducted raid and search at Srimantapur border road side under Sonamura PS on Saturday (25th July, 2026).
According to sources, Sonamura Police Station During mobile duty at Srimantapur border road side recovered and seized total-9 kg dry ganja and 60 no’s ESKUF. After that, it was seized following all legal formalities as unclaimed.
The destination market value of the seized contrabands is approximately to be two lakh forty thousand only.
Interacted with media Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station gave details about this matter. OC also stated that such operations against illegal contrabands would continue next day.
