Sonamura, Tripura, 1st of August, 2026 : Sonamura Police during patrolling duty recovered and seized total 75 Nos Eskuf cough syrup at Srimantapur border area, Sonamura under Sepahijala District on Friday (31st July, 2026).
According to sources, Sonamura Police recovered and seized total 75 Nos Eskuf cough syrup. After that, it was seized following all legal formalities as unclaimed.
The destination market value of the 75 Nos. Eskuf cough syrup is approximately to be Seventy-five thousand only.
Interacted with media Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station said that Sonamura police has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal seizes Eskuf cough syrup.
OC also stated that such operations against illegal contrabands would continue next day.
