Dharmanagar, Tripura, 13th of October, 2026 : Ahead of the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja, a special meeting was held on Tuesday (13th October, 2026) at the conference hall of the Dharmanagar Municipal Council, organised by the council to review preparations for the festival.
The meeting was attended by Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, Municipal Council Chairperson Mitali Das Sen, Vice-Chairperson Manju Nath, members of the Municipal Council, and concerned officials.The meeting focused on various preparations and key issues to ensure that the upcoming Durga Puja is celebrated smoothly, beautifully, and in an orderly manner.
Special emphasis was placed on ensuring public convenience, maintaining security, and providing essential services and administrative support throughout the festival.Discussions also highlighted the need to strengthen overall arrangements for Durga Puja and ensure effective coordination among all stakeholders to make the celebrations peaceful and joyful.Those present expressed optimism that the collective cooperation of the Municipal Council, administration, and the general public would play a vital role in making this year’s Sharadiya Durga Puja in Dharmanagar a grand success.
