State Engineers’ Association Organizes Blood Donation And Tree Plantation Programme In Dharmanagar.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 4th of June 2026 : As part of its social responsibility initiatives and in observance of the upcoming World Environment Day, the State Engineers’ Association organized a special blood donation and tree plantation programme in Dharmanagar on Thursday.

The programme was held at the Dharmanagar PWD Office Complex and was inaugurated by Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty. Among those present were the North District President of the State Engineers’ Association, Dibyajyoti Nath, Secretary Joydeep Bhattacharjee, and Executive Engineers from various departments. Engineers, government employees, social workers, and other distinguished personalities also attended the event.The programme began with a ceremonial welcome of the guests with flowers and traditional uttariyas.

Discussions were then held on the importance of blood donation, encouraging people to come forward voluntarily and help save lives through this noble act.Simultaneously, a tree plantation drive was conducted to promote environmental conservation and spread awareness about the importance of maintaining a greener and healthier environment.The organizers stated that while blood donation is a noble humanitarian service, tree plantation plays a vital role in ensuring a healthy and secure environment for future generations. Therefore, both activities were combined into a single programme to maximize social impact.
