As per direction of the Election commission of India the State Excise Organization is conducting raids to curb illicit liquor selling, manufacturing and transportation on daily basis. As per report, the Excise Organization seized 12851.455 litres of illicit liquor on 02-02-2023 throughout the State which value stands to Rs.30,39,172/-.
After date of announcement of poll i.e. on 18-01-2023 upto 02-02-2023, the State Excise Organization seized total 24922.388 litres of illicit liquor which value stands to total Rs.62,03,544/- and total cases registered 38nos and total13 nos. persons arrested.
