Dharmanagar, Tripura, 23rd of July 2026 : A crucial preparatory meeting was held on Wednesday at the conference hall of the Dharmanagar Municipal Council to ensure the smooth and successful organization of the Ulto Rath Yatra celebrations on July 24, during which the Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, is scheduled to attend and distribute prizes.
The meeting was attended by Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, along with officials from the Public Works Department (PWD), Public Health Engineering (PHE), Dharmanagar Municipal Council, Health Department, Power Department, Police Administration, Fire and Emergency Services, Information and Cultural Affairs Department, members of the Rath Yatra Committee, and representatives from various other government departments.
All councillors of the Municipal Council were also present.The meeting focused on key aspects of the Governor’s visit and the Ulto Rath Yatra, including security arrangements, traffic management, drinking water supply, electricity, healthcare services, fire safety, sanitation, stage management, and overall event coordination. Officials of the concerned departments were instructed to carry out their assigned responsibilities efficiently.The administration stated that comprehensive preparations are being made through close coordination among all departments to ensure that the religious festival and the Governor’s visit are conducted peacefully, safely, and successfully.
