Agartala, Tripura, 16th of June, 2025 : With the Joint initiative of Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathia Baba Mission College affiliated under Tripura University (Central University) observed World Environment Day in college campus, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability.
The event was graced by the presence of Principal, Dr. Samir Nag, Vice Principal, Dr. Aparajita Modak, along with all faculty members, official staff & students. The College community came together to plant trees to contribute to a greener and healthier environment. Speaking on the occasion, Principal, Dr. Samir Nag emphasized the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and promoting ecological balance. The programme ended with vote of thanks delivered by Vice Principal, Dr. Aparajita Modak prioritizing the importance of an educational institution to instill environmental awareness on tree plantation among students.
The tree plantation event served as a platform for students, faculty and staff to come together and make a positive impact on the environment.
