Ten People, Including A School Students, Were Injured In An Attack By A Rabid Dog.

Khowai, Tripura, 19th of November, 2025 : Ten people, including school students, were injured in an attack by a rabid dog. The incident took place in the Ganki area under Khowai Subdivision on Wednesday (19th November, 2025). The OC’s prompt action put an end to the terror caused by the mad dog.

According to report, a mad dog bit 10 members of the general public at Ganki, Subhash Park area under Khowai Subdivision today at afternoon. The incident created panic throughout the entire Khowai town area. Later, due to the prompt action of the Khowai police station’s OC, Krishnadan Sarkar, the mad dog was located and neutralized. The panic among the people of Khowai town caused by the rabid dog finally came to an end.

Interacted with media OC of Khowai Police Station Krishnadhan Sarkar said that the rabid dog had been biting people indiscriminately since 10 a.m.today. Around 2 p.m., the dog was located and subdued in front of the Khowai Ganki Police Line. Seeing the OC’s prompt action, the general public of Khowai felt relieved and pleased.
