Khowai, Tripura, 3rd of August, 2024 : With the initiative of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday (3rd August, 2024) campaigning the targeting forthcoming Three-Tier Panchayat Elections at Khowai. Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder participate campaign in supported of BJP candidates of forthcoming Three-Tier Panchayat Elections at Khowai today.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) electoral campaign initiated for the upcoming Three-Tier Panchayat Elections in full swing. The state leaders of BJP campaigning the various village Panchayats of Khowai to ensure the victory of the BJP nominated candidates with huge votes in the forthcoming Three-Tier Panchayat Elections. While the BJP won unopposed in most of the village Panchayats in Three-Tier Panchayat Elections under Khowai RD block, some Panchayats are going to polls. On August 8, the people will vote on the ballot papers to win the victory of their favourite candidates in the struggle to take over the village.

Addressing the gathering Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA of Tripura Legislative Assembly Dipak Majumder said, during the left period, Khowai was a hotbed of terror. Murder, terror, rape are their work. The people of Khowai have been the most victims of terrorism in the State. The people of Khowai had to spend the night in fear during the elections. But BJP party believes in democracy. Voting is the festival of democracy. Both the ruling party and opposition parties will fight there. It is natural that people exercise their democratic rights and elect representatives. But CPM and Congress parties are busy with press meets instead of contesting elections.

Addressing the participants Subrata Majumder president of Khowai Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mandal said that BJP party wants to work for society and people. There was no democracy in the State during the previous Government. Common people were deprived of Government facilities. The left Government established party system in the Dtate in the name of Government privileges. But after the establishment of new Government in the State in 2018, no person of the State has to be deprived. All Government facilities are reaching the last person. No one had to walk in a procession or go to a rally for that. It has not been decided who makes which team. All kinds of Government facilities are reaching every person. And this is possible due to the present Government being in power. Therefore, he called upon the opposition to secure the security of the upcoming Three -Tier Panchayat Elections by securing the victory of the BJP nominated candidates by giving 80 percent votes.

In today’s electoral campaign apart from Mayor of AMC and MLA Dipak Majumder, Khowai Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mandal president Subrata Majumder, Vice-President Pranab Biswas, Paschim Ganki Gram Panchayat In-charge Bijay Kumar Debnath, BJP nominated candidate for Zilla Parishad Anukal Das and Panchayat Samiti candidate Depti Rani Das, who won unopposed in Paschim Ganki Gram Panchayat, and many others remained present in the rally.
