Teliamura, 12th of February 2024 : With the initiative of Tipra Indigenous Students’ Federation (TISF), Tipra Students’ Federation (TSF) the students wing of the Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) Motha Party have staged road blockade here on Assam-Agartala road nearby Mungiakami on Monday (12th February, 2024). TISF have staged road blockade in demand of Roman Script in the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) board examinations. A large number of Students of indigenous organization TISF participated in the blockade. EM, TTAADC Kamal Kalai, 29 Krishnapur block president Mahendra Debbarma, TISF Teliamura Sub-committee convener and many others remained present in the blockade gathering. Protesters highways and railway lines were blocked in many parts of Tripura. Normal life and movement of vehicles including trains were hit by the road blockade.
